If you have crooked or misaligned teeth you wish were straighter, DentalCare Associates PC has the solution for you. We specialize in ClearCorrect dental aligners that offer a discreet treatment plan to help correct your smile.
ClearCorrect aligners are convenient and comfortable, offering an alternate option to traditional braces. ClearCorrect aligner treatments use a series of plastic dental trays that put continuous pressure on your teeth to help straighten them over time.
To begin the process, we'll use a putty material to take an impression of your mouth that we send to a specialized dental laboratory that creates a model of your mouth currently and a final model portraying how your straightened teeth will look. Based on these two models, the lab will determine the gradual steps of your ClearCorrect process and create your aligners.
After we receive your customized aligners, we'll schedule an appointment for you to be fitted for your first tray to confirm it fits comfortably before beginning your ClearCorrect treatment. You'll have to wear each aligner for three weeks, then switch to the next one in the sequence to slowly shift your teeth into the desired position. We will likely recommend routine check-ups to confirm your teeth are moving safely and ensure the treatment is working.
Most patients experience noticeable results more quickly and with less discomfort using ClearComfort as opposed to traditional braces. The discrete trays are free of brackets or wires, meaning no sore spots on your lips, cheeks, or tongue. You can also remove the dental trays for short periods while eating, so you don't have to restrict your diet as with other teeth straightening options.

Clear Correct aligners:
You can use ClearCorrect in almost every case as an alternative to traditional braces. The clear trays are more aesthetically pleasing, easier to clean, and more comfortable than traditional braces, and they offer a custom fit to your unique teeth. This provides you with results that are often better than braces. However, if you have complex alignment or bite issues, we may recommend traditional braces.
While both CLearConnect and Invisalign involve a series of clear aligners to shift teeth, ClearCorrect does have some benefits over Invisalign.
ClearCorrect aligner trays are significantly more invisible than Invisalign trays, and they stay this way longer. Invisalign aligners tend to become cloudy over time, whereas ClearCorrect are resistant to clouding from wear.
The amount of time you'll need to wear the aligners depends on a case-by-case basis. Invisalign treatments typically involve 20 to 30 aligners for completion, whereas ClearCorrect treatments can be completed in between 12 and 32 steps.
Both teeth alignment solutions use a 3-D mold of the mouth to create customized aligners specific to your mouth's needs.
ClearCorrect is a great solution for teens and adults who have all their molars grown in. Orthodontic conditions that ClearCorrect can address include:
The length of time you'll need to wear aligners depends on the complexity of your case. Some patients must wear aligner trays for up to one year, whereas others may need up to two years of trays. Our dental experts will determine the best plan for your specific teeth.
ClearCorrect varies in price based on the severity and complexity of your alignment issues. These treatments may range from $2,500 to $5,500. Some dental health insurance plans may cover a portion of or the entire cost of treatment. Reach out to your dental insurance provider to inquire about what your coverage.
